'Policy inconsistencies haunt economy,' says Tsvangirai

MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai says government's policy inconsistencies are hampering Zimbabwe's prospects of economic turnaround as it remains an albatross in attracting foreign direct investment.

He said inconsistency on key programmes such as the indigenisation and economic empowerment were not helping in bringing sanity and predictability.

Tsvangirai said the Zanu-PF government has run out of ideas in wake of the shrinking economy and revenue collections.

He said as long as there is clarity on the laws, investors will continue to doubt the economy.
