The prosecution team in the Baba Jukwa case that has seen arrest of The Sunday Mail editor, Edmund Kudzayi and his brother Phillip yesterday said the state is not ready for trial.
Edmund and Phillip are facing allegations of attempting to overthrow a constitutionally elected government by creating the Facebook character that allegedly plotted insurgency banditry, sabotage and terrorism against government in the run-up to last year's general elections.
The pair appeared before Magistrate Donald Ndirowei for their routine remand hearing.
Meanwhile, police spokesperson Charity Charamba says the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is keen to interview Zakes Moyo and Mkhululi Chimoi based in South Africa in connection with administration of Baba Jukwa Facebook page.
Charamba said the page posted subversive material, targeting President Mugabe, ministers, senior government officials and security chiefs ahead of the 2013 general elections.
The State claims the Sunday Mail editor Edmund behind the enigmatic character.
