Zimbabwe is aiming to increase tourist growth share of the European and American source market of outbound tourists from 1 4% to 27% in 2014, Tourism and Hospitality Industry minister Walter Mzembi said on Wednesday.

Following a meeting to promote Zimbabwe tourism with US ambassador to Zimbabwe Bruce Wharton, Mzembi said the two countries are looking at twining the Niagara Falls shared by America and Canada with Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls as an international tourism package.

Mzembi said there would be robust growth in the tourism industry this year buoyed by the growth in regional trade and commerce through transiting business visitors.
