Police have named a suspect who is alleged to have been behind sourcing sponsorship for the Baba Jukwa project.
In a statement, Zimbabwe Republic Police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed they would like to question a Zimbabwean based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Chawarika Matongorere.
Matongorere is suspected to be responsible for the sourcing of funds for the Baba Jukwa project as well as also posting subversive material on social media.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Charamba said anyone with information on the exact location of Matongorere should contact Officer Commanding CID Law and Order Section Harare, on telephone number 777777 or National Complaints Desk at Police General Headquarters 703631 or any nearest police station.
Two suspects arrested by police in connection with the Baba Jukwa project Romeo Musemburi and Sunday Mail editor Edmund Kudzayi were granted bail early this month.
