First Lady Grace Mugabe will ascend the Zanu PF Women's League chairpersonship at the party's December congress in what controversial MDC-T politician Job Sikhala says will clear way for former Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe governor Gideon Gono to land the presidency.

"As I said it sometimes ago that Grace Mugabe will become the ZANU PF head of the Women's League after the December congress on the political chess game to throw GIDION GONO into succession battle few believed me," Sikhala said.

"Only Nehanda Radio and Bulawayo24 carried a story based on my Facebook posting. There is nothing here because those who have already positioned themselves to take over are preparing for the war of Armageddon."

Sikhala said Zimbabwe was headed for interesting times.

"But we all have to be vigilant because we don't want our country to be dragged into a mini civil war on the behest of the ambitions of the failed people.

"Don't rule out incessant elimination of each other before and after their congress. This has all been caused by Mugabe's overstaying in power," he said.

"His failure to have a properly planned succession plan is going to lead our country into a bloodbath. Knives are being sharpened. Keep yourselves braced for the most dangerous period in our national politics."
