ZBC news anchor's dressing sparks controversy

The dressing of Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation's news anchor, Juliet Muzenda, on Monday's 2000hrs news bulletin has divided opinion among the audience.
Muzenda was dressed in a male jacket, shirt and a tie.
The jacket was double breasted and oversized.
"A presenter should not be dressed like this on national television. I personally think she did not know that she was on duty and she had to borrow clothes from a male friend," posted Tawanda Gamanya on social network yesterday.
Some held the view it was now trendy for women to dress in male garments.
"There is nothing sinister about her dressing. It is now trendy to see women dressed like this. However, she should have looked for slim-fit jackets that suit her well, not that oversized coat," said another concerned viewer, Petros Alfinos.
However, fashion designer Cathy Tamba said there was nothing wrong with her dressing like a man but she should have looked at fine details associated with male dressing.
"In order to be pulled off in an effective and convincing manner, dressing a female as a male requires a great deal of effort," she said.
"Choosing the right clothing to conceal masculine traits, understanding sizing and selecting the best foundation garments can help turn an ordinary Joanne into an extraordinary Joe,"
