Human body discovered with missing head

IN a suspected murder case which occurred in Marange recently, a torso was discovered in Chaeruka Village.
Deputy Manicaland police spokesperson, Assistant Inspector Luxson Chananda, said one herdsman, Moses Chiwariro (34), was herding his cattle when he heard someone crying for help near Save River.
"When he rushed to find out what was happening, Chiwariro saw a man being swept away by the river. Instead of assisting the man, Chiwariro rushed to the police to make a report. When the police attended the scene, they could not find the person," he said.
They later saw a body further down, but they noticed that the head was missing.
The man's legs were tied together with a silk cloth.
Commenting on the issue, Asst Insp Chananda encouraged people to help first when they see a need before informing the police saying this can save lives.
He also urged people with missing relatives to visit the police so that they can try to identify the body.
