Zimbabwe airspace security tightened

The minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development, Obert Mpofu has made new regulations in the Civil Aviation of Zimbabwe to ensure that there are more security measures in the country's air space.
The new regulations entail training Civil Aviation staff in the security awareness.
According to the latest Government Gazette, Mpofu made the new regulations using provisions in section 79 of the Civil Aviation Act.
He added that there would be new rules where screening of cargo and mail would now be thoroughly carried out.
