'Mugabe must be overthrown'

Controversial MDC-T politician Job Sikhala says he will support a faction of Zanu PF allegedly working to overthrow President Robert Mugabe from power.

There has been allegations in the faction riddled Zanu PF that members aligned to Vice President Joice Mujuru are working on toppling Mugabe at the December party elective congress.

"It's not only I alone but a million others who include Psychology Maziwisa that want Mugabe gone. We are even told daily by all and sundry in Zanu PF that even Didymus Mutasa and Amai Mujuru are pushing him to go," said Sikhala.

"We were given free narrative of the truth by the brave Chris Mutsvangwa that a coterie of senior people in the Zanu PF presidium is pushing for his ouster. Who am I to refuse such a noble call?

"I am in the same camp with Cde Gamatox (Mutasa) to effect a regime change on Mugabe together with you because Mugabe himself has said that you are at the Zanu PF headquarters on the behest of Cde Gamatox."

Sikhala added, "I am also aware of the role you prominently played on Baba Jukwa, Psychology Maziwisa which you personally confided to me that day when we were waiting for a Television recording at ZBC when you told me you were playing top politics.

 "I kept quiet because you were doing a good job that I believed in. Your posts which was the envy of everyone for many years when you were in SA are in tandem with my call today that Mugabe has become a liability in this country. I totally support your machinations with Cde Gamatox that Mugabe must be overthrown."
