Government is considering imposing travel restrictions and ban travellers from Ebola infected countries following revelations that DRC confirmed several cases of the deadly disease, Health and Child Care minister, David Parirenyatwa said yesterday.

Parirenyatwa told a breakfast meeting in Harare to activate National Inter-ministerial Taskforce on Ebola Alertness, Preparedness and Response, that it was high time Zimbabwe placed stringent travelling conditions.

He said Zimbabweans are the most active travellers and there are everywhere and indicated it can be really hard to trace all people who travel so there is need to put stringent measures.
