Former Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai says he has not forgotten the victims of political violence who are living in abject poverty around the country.
The MDC president, who today heads to the political hotbed of Uzumba, a stronghold of his rival President Robert Mugabe, said people who lost their homes and livelihoods in politically related violence were always in his heart.
Luke Tamborinyoka yesterday said that his boss was going to hand over building materials to persons who lost their homes in the 2008 political violence.
The MDC says it recognises five distinct periods of gross human rights violations: 1987 to 1987, 2000, 2005 and 2008.
The country's main opposition claims that thousands of its supporters have been killed on politically-motivated violence since 2000.
