A 22-YEAR-OLD woman has allegedly been tormenting her lover's wife by constantly sending WhatsApp pictures of herself, and messages declaring her love for the married man.
This was revealed in court yesterday when Nokuthula Khumalo dragged Sidumiso Dube, 41, to the Maintenance Court seeking $100 for their four-month-old daughter.
Dube, a married father of four, told magistrate Vivian Ndlovu that Khumalo has been relentlessly violating his family's privacy.
"Your worship, ever since this woman got hold of my wife's cellphone number she has been tormenting me and my family. She constantly calls my wife telling her that she is my girlfriend.
"She has even gone to the extent of sending pictures of herself to my wife on WhatsApp," said Dube.
Khumalo did not comment on the allegations but told magistrate Ndlovu that she was entitled to communicate with Dube as the two have a child together.
"I'm this man's girlfriend so I've every right to communicate with him. I know he is able to give me $100 a month because he is a businessman realising about $1,000 a month," said Khumalo.
She also revealed in court that the two started their adulterous affair when they met at her former workplace where Dube supplies school uniforms.
Magistrate Ndlovu criticised Khumalo for being involved with a man old enough to be her father, saying she was degrading herself.
The magistrate also castigated her for having misplaced priorities after Khumalo revealed that she was being taken care of by her mother.
Magistrate Ndlovu ordered Dube to pay $70 starting this month-end.
