Tsvangirai inciting violence?

MDC-T leader, Morgan Tsvangirai has called on his supporters to rise against the government, accusing the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, the police and war veterans of advancing state-sponsored violence on civilians.
Tsvangirai turned back the hands of time by connecting with his violent past of the early 2000 when he led his supporters into destructive strikes, stay-aways and the ill-fated final push.
The ex-Prime Minister, who was addressing his supporters at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo to mark the party's 15th anniversary, accused the army, police and war veterans of attacking civilians and told his supporters to rise up against the elected government of President Robert Mugabe.
Tsvangirai also took a dig at chiefs, accusing them of being political and partisan, before warning them of unspecified action.
He also attacked the public media, accusing journalists of abusing his office.
The MDC-T leader, who blamed everyone else except himself, threatened prospective contenders for the party's presidency not to challenge his position and office up until he overthrows the Zanu PF government.
Divisions in Tsvangirai's party became visible just six years after its formation when one group led by Professor Welshman Ncube left in 2005.
However, it is the group known as the MDC Renewal led by Tendai Biti that has ruffled feathers in Tsvangirai's corner.
Suffering his heaviest defeat to President Mugabe in the party's short history in the 31st July 2013 elections, coupled with personal problems over numerous women, Tsvangirai's political future appears to be heading for sunset as the MDC-T prepares for its congress next month.
