Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa came under criticism yesterday for failing to follow parliamentary procedure when he sought to introduce a supplementary budget in the National Assembly last week.
The minister whose mid-term policy review statement had been rendered null and void by the speaker of National Assembly, Jacob Mudenda, due to non-compliance of the law, endured criticism from MDC-T MPs when he approached the house apologizing for the error.
Although the house forgave the minister and allowed his mid-term policy statement to stand, he endured criticism from MDC-T MPs.
