2150 students from 16 departments and divisions have graduated in various disciplines at the Harare Polytechnic campus on Thursday September 18.
Many were optimistic about their job prospects and some students told the ZBC News that they have been adequately trained to be entrepreneurs, and thus will create employment for fellow Zimbabweans.
Harare Polytechnic Principal, Engineer Mudondo said this year's graduation theme: ‘Transforming Learning, Research and Intellectual Excellence for Socio-Economic Development,' bears witness to student centred education, learning and training.
Guest of honour, the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development, Dr Olivia Muchena said government remains committed to the provision of quality education, which is expected to spur the economic revolution.
