Woman pulls hubby's privates, drags him to court

A 42-year-old man from Zimunya, Golden Mangwende, was last week dragged to court for battering his wife using fists, open hands and biting her hand.

Mangwende pleaded guilty to the charges of assaulting and biting his wife, Irene Dzauda. He was under the influence of alcohol.

Mangwende told the court that bit Dzauda because she had grabbed my privates.

Magistrate adjourned the matter to Monday, leaving Mangwende to spend the weekend behind bars.

When sentence was delivered on Monday, the magistrate ordered Mangwende to pay a fine of $50 fine or 30 days imprisonment.
