Mugabe race gets dirtier

Despite moves by President Mugabe to bar Zanu-PF members from using media to air their grievances and to settle political scores, the party is embroiled in a new and divisive propaganda war amid damaging allegations that some of its leading members are spying for Americans.

Analysts have described this as typical Zanu-PF culture.

Information Minister Jonathan Moyo is being implicated as being behind the alleged stories.

Enoch Porusingazi among the alleged US spy denied any involvement in the spy saga although he admitted to being invited to an American Embassy function which he said did not attend.
