Prophet Angel defamation case, no reprieve for SuperSport

The High Court has dismissed an interlocutory application by a South African media company, SuperSport, clearing the way for determination of the case in which Spirit Embassy leader Uebert Angel is claiming defamation charges to the tune of$1.5 million from the firm.
Angel is suing SuperSport over an article published on the firm's website linking him with a prophecy that Liverpool Football Club would win last season's EPL title.
The prophet denies ever making such a prophecy and that the article would cause his followers to lose confidence in him.
