Mugabe returns from New York, US

President Robert Mugabe has returned home from New York where he attended the 69th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.

He was welcomed by senior government officials and hundreds of Zanu-PF supporters from Harare Metropolitan province.

The summit was designed to lay the groundwork for a new global treaty to tackle climate change when world leaders meet in Paris in December 2015.
