Makandiwa fires back saying he is not for sale to political parties

PROPHET Emmanuel Makandiwa, the founder of United Family International Church (UFIC) says he has no price tag for any of the parties to buy him.
"If anyone thinks that these political parties can buy me he or she is lost, it's only a sign that Zimbabweans do not understand me and may take more years to know me better."
On reports that he was used by Zanu PF to try and dissuade Zimbabweans from conducting mass action, Makandiwa said: "This is what you hear, you say something as a prophet but people misinterpret, I gave you a prophecy recently, but you hear the same people who cannot hear from God worse off.
"It (prophesy) became the talk of town. If you were good listeners, you would understand I was prophesying from a prophetic point of view and whichever angle you may want to take it from, it was positive whether from the MDC or Zanu PF perspective."
Makandiwa emphasised that he was not aligned to any political party and hence his prophecy was apolitical and beneficial to the nation.
Responding to some sentiments that his prophecy was nothing but a response to a call by the opposition party MDC to hold protests, Makandiwa said this prophecy was publicly given way before there was any announcement or need for mass protest, as both the MDC and Zanu PF were working together in the unity government.
"I initially gave this prophecy long back on the 17 June, 2010 about a soldier running amok with a gun," said Makandiwa.
