Tsvangirai a womanizer, says MDC Renewal activist

AN activist from MDC Renewal Team fronted by Tendai Biti yesterday accused MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai as a womanizer while giving his defence before a Harare Court on charges of attempted arson.

32-year-old Leornard Dendera of Chitungwiza is accused of trying to bomb the MDC-T headquarters at Harare but yesterday he claimed that he had no confidence in Tsvangirai because he "is just a womanizer.

 The case was closed after five witnesses gave testimonies before the court. The verdict will be delivered today.

According to the State case Dendera was allegedly caught at Harvest House in the night with various articles for criminal use, including a hacksaw, a pair of gloves, 2kg of fertiliser, three empty bottles and two litres of petrol.

It is alleged that the following day Dendera made a false police report that he lived at No. 3 Chigunguru Road, Zengeza 1, when in fact, is correct address was house number 16265 Zengeza 3, Chitungwiza.

It is alleged that he also reported that he was assaulted by Mwonzora and Joseph Madziwa at Harvest House when that did not happen.
