The Zanu PF Mashonaland West Province Executive Council has reportedly passed a vote of no confidence in the provincial chairman Themba Mliswa.
The resolution of the no confidence vote was announced by the provincial executive council deputy chairman, Ziyambi Ziyambi in Chinhoyi.
Ziyambi said part of the reasons for the no confidence vote were persistent and constant attacks on the country's leadership and general disrespect of executive members as well as Mliswa's acceptance of money from Americans.
Ziyambi said 27 members out of 48 eligible members were in favour of the no confidence vote.
Efforts to get a comment from Mliswa were fruitless as he was not picking his mobile phone.
