The First Lady, Grace Mugabe, while addressing Zanu PF supporters at Mucheke Stadium in Masvingo, said some Zanu PF leaders in Masvingo Province should desist from their scheme of trying to dislodge President Robert Mugabe.
Continuing her 'meet the people tour,' she said: "Factionalism must stop. There is vote-buying in the party and it is mostly men involved in such acts.
"They are trying to buy the vote of women, because they know that we constitute about 52 percent of the population.
"So as women we are saying if you rely on such acts, we are ready to take over the party. The time has come when your money will not work for your benefit," said Mugabe.
Mugabe said she abhors factionalism, adding that planting seeds of disunity is a ploy by the British who want to reverse the land resettlement programme.
She said people must refuse being used by selfish individuals who are using borrowed powers adding that instead of jostling for positions, party members must focus on fulfilling election promises and implementing the ZIMASSET economic blueprint.
"Please don't take the electorate for granted," she urged.
