FELIX MAFA SIBANDA, a former MDC-T legislator has described the defection of the party's organising secretary Albert Mhlanga to MDC-Renewal team, as good riddance, accusing him of destroying the party through facilitating rigging.

Sibanda described Mhlanga as a party destroyer and a "rigger" whose plans failed when at last Bulawayo members defied his rigging tactics at congress.

He said members must ignore his bitter remarks, as his departure was good riddance.

"I cannot watch and fold my hands while Mhlanga is assassinating both the party and the leadership right, left and centre," Sibanda, who briefly defected from the MDC-T ahead of last year's elections, said.

Sibanda and Mhlanga have not seen eye to eye since the party held primary elections last year. The former Magwegwe legislator accuses the Pumula legislator of facilitating his defeat.
