Notorious schoolgirl slaps teacher

A WANKIE secondary school form 3 pupil (name withheld) reportedly slapped her teacher recently for reprimanding her for making noise in class.

According to, a local tabloid, the student who is a repeater was angered when her teacher continuously reprimanded her for making noise.

The female student, it is alleged told the teacher to leave her alone and mind his own business much to the shock of her classmates who were watching the unfolding drama.

Angered by her response the youthful teacher approached her and slapped her unbeknown to him that he pressed a wrong button.

"We were very shocked to see her rising from her seat before delivering a hard slap on the unsuspecting teacher and tried to flee before being tripped to the floor by him," a student who spoke on condition of anonymity said.

The irate teacher went on to grab her by the hand before dragging her to the school head's office while struggling herself while telling him to let go off her.

The commotion soon disrupted lessons as students and teachers poured out of their classrooms to catch a glimpse of the drama.

School authorities could not be drawn into commenting on this matter.

Cases of students assaulting their teachers have been on the rise following government's ban of corporal punishment.
