I am the missing asset in ZIMASSET - Grace

First lady Dr Grace Mugabe says that she is the missing asset in the ZIMASSET economic blue print being implemented by the government.

Opening her speech in her meet the people rally in Gwanda on Monday, Dr Mugabe said that the ruling ZANU PF women's league asked her to take up a leadership position in the party after realising that she was a valued asset for the country. Dr Mugabe thanked the women's league for realising the potential in her and vowed to be a human resource asset in the success of the economic blue print.

"The women set down and realised that ZIMASSET is incomplete without an asset called Amai Mugabe that is why I am here today," said the first lady.

The Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio Economic Transformation (ZIMASSET) is an economic blue print introduced by the government to try and turn around the economic fortunes of the country. The economic programme is put directly under the administration of the President's Office under the advise of Minister of Information Jonathan Moyo who was the brains behind the blue print.
