Zimbabwe Parliamentarians demand Government to buy them new luxury cars

Zimbabwe Parliamentarians from both the House of Assembly and Senate met on Tuesday and resolved that the cash strapped Zimbabwe Government should buy them new vehicles it has been revealed.
MPs welfare committee chairperson, Zanu-PF MP Kudakwashe Bhasikiti, confirmed the legislators' demands.
MPs want Government to buy them new vehicles as the ones they were using had been damaged during the constitution-making business.
Some MPs urgue that since the government bought luxury vehicles for minister, they also want the same to be done fot them since they are the ones that work with the communities everyday.
However, the MPs were being paid for using their vehicles.
"We discussed that we also want new cars as has been done for ministers," he said.
The MPs have of late been clamouring for their sitting allowances that have not been paid since 2008. They have also resolved not to repay vehicle loans advanced to them until their outstanding allowances were paid.
The Zimbabwe legislature has turned to be a get rich scheme for individuals who got to parliament with nothing as they demand what they want now and then.
