Ambassador Nyamupinga dies at 65

A career diplomat who served in Australia, Sweden, India and Nigeria, Mr Felix Nyamupinga, has died. He was 65.
He was born on 2 July 1949 in Kadoma.
Mr Nyamupinga, who was married to Goromonzi East Member of Parliament Beatrice Nyamupinga, died last Thursday of heart attack in South Africa.
A family spokesperson and niece, Ms Heather Takaendesa, said Mr Nyamupinga's body is expected in the country early tomorrow morning.
She said the body will lie in state at the family home before burial on Wednesday at Glen Forest Cemetery at 2pm.
Mr Nyamupinga served as a diplomat in Nigeria from 1982 to 1984 before he was posted to India from 1984 to 1987.
In 1989 he was Zimbabwe's ambassador to Sweden where he served until 1993 and became the country's envoy to Australia from 2005 until 2012.
He leaves behind his wife, Beatrice Nyamupinga and three children - Rutendo, Wadzanai and Gamuchirai.
Mourners are gathered at Number 57, Harare Drive, Borrowdale in Harare.
