'Change human rights approach' says Supa Mandiwanzira

The Deputy Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Supa Mandiwanzira, who was officiating at the opening of a Zimbabwe Human Rights Commission (ZHRC) and Media Workshop, appealed to the media to tell the story of human rights from the perspective of Zimbabwe's history.  

Mandiwanzira also said the media must desist from the perception that human rights issues are only restricted to political complaints as the field encompasses a lot of diverse needs affecting the people.

ZHRC Chairperson, Mr Elasto Mugwadi also called on the media to partner the organisation in informing the public of the ZHRC's mandate.
