THE organizer of the Occupy Africa Unity Square journalist-cum activist Itai Dzamara and three other activists were yesterday arrested and released without any charge after they were bashed by angry Zanu PF supporters for attempting to stage protest marches calling for President Mugabe to step down.

Dzamara who now commands are huge following on Social Media ever since he launched his protest campaign posted on Facebook in the morning resolving to continue with the peaceful demos "until powers that be respond."

"We are pleased to say that our three members that were assaulted by Zanu-PF mobs yesterday and arrested by police, are fine and ready to go to the square," Dzamara posted on behalf of his group.

"We are not stopping or relenting and have actually clearly established that our mission is on course.

Come and join us at the square, where we are expressing our protests and demands to President Mugabe in a civil, peaceful and resolute way.

Yes, the numbers are increasing and being counted. The authorities have stopped pretending to ignore us and are now fully seized by our mission."

Although they were arrested yesterday, the group claims, was released without charge.

"Yet again, yesterday the state failed to find any wrong-doing or crime being committed through our mission.

That clearly outlines and justifies the reality of our mission being within the requirements of the law, and also being very relevant for this time," Dzamara posted on Facebook.

In typical shadowy Facebook character Baba Jukwa, Dzamara urges the nation to 'protest' against Mugabe and his Zanu'PF regime accusing them of failing to deliver.

He has been arrested several times ever since he launched his infamous campaign but that has not stopped him from pursuing his project.
