A WIDOWED Pastor is causing a stir in the church after accusations that he snatched his fellow pastor's wife. The alleged home-wrecking pastor was identified as Pastor Taylor Nyanhete, 53, of St Mary's Anglican Church Avondale parish resides in Kuwadzana Extension. He is alleged to have rocked Marlborough St Paul's Anglican parish run by Pastor Kamukombe a Harare government tabloid has revealed.

However, BOTH men of God insist that everything is okay and the trio all actually related one way or the other, they claimed.

The alleged victim Pastor Kamukombe said: "I heard the rumour that people are speculating that my fellow pastor in Malbereign snatched my wife but that is untrue. "There is nothing like that, my wife is not comfortable to talk to the Press, if she is fine with that I will let you know," said Pastor Kamukombe. He said that the only relationship that he knew between his wife and Pastor Nyanhete was that they call each other 'brother', although he could not elaborate on the REAL nature of the relationship or on what basis the two are 'brother' and 'sister'. "There is a distant relationship between my wife and Nyanhete as they call each other brother and sister.

"After all, even if there was anything going on, I would not discuss it through the Press, I would solve it at a family level," he added with his statement insinuating the benefit of doubt! However, despite his denial, parishioners from BOTH parishes said that the love triangle had become talk of the church. Our sources within the Church said that Pastor Kamukombe in fact caught his wife walking lackadaisically with Pastor Nyanhete like teenage lovers in the streets of Warren Park.

Pastor Kamukombe is said to have punched his wife resulting in the loss of her tooth. "What we heard is that Kamukombe found his wife with Nyanhete in Warren Park and punched his wife resulting in her losing a tooth," revealed our source. From that day the wife has never stepped foot at church or appeared in public forcing parishioners to confront the church leadership over 'Mai Mufundisi's whereabouts.

"From that time his wife is no longer coming to church and no explanation was given until we confronted the leadership over the issue. "We never expected that from Nyanhete who lost his wife in 2009. "Why he did that to his fellow priest beats us," said one of the church members. Pastor Kamukombe is alleged to have then reacted by making a public announcement in church stating that anyone who was interested to know about his wife's whereabouts must come and see him face to face.

When H-Metro asked him about his wife's whereabouts, he said she was at work. H-Metro then visited the alleged home wrecker, Pastor Nyanhete at his Kuwadzana house but he was not there compelling the reporter to call him. He acknowledged being in a relationship with Pastor Kamukombe's wife albeit not romantic!

"I am related to Kamukombe's wife in the sense that we share the same totem but we never fell in love as what people are saying. "I do not know about their differences at home and I have since stopped communicating with his wife after that rumour. "Of course I intend to marry because my wife died in 2009 but there are some traditional procedures I have to follow since I have grandchildren. Visit me at my workplace along Bishop Gaul tomorrow for more details," said Nyanhete. When contacted for comment Bishop Kunonga's mobile phone went unanswered last night.
