About 150 vendors registered under the National Vendors Union of Zimbabwe took a stand upon Grassroots Vendors Association were they claim they are the rightful owners of the market place where they sell along Speke Avenue close to Copacabana accusing Mudzengerereri of Grassroots of being a bully. Pitching up tents in the city of Harare everywhere because of connections in ZANU PF taking people's money.

Charging $ 10.00 per day to each vendor whilst the city of Harare is charging a dollar. Most of the vendors are single mothers, windows and disabled. Crying that they are making an honest way of living, accusing the City fathers of giving a blind eye on what is going on in the city. Some motorists were sympathising with the vendors and also accusing the city fathers of taking their parking designated for cars taking it into clothes vending space. They are blaming ZINARA for not taking action in these illegal vending happening in the streets of Harare.

Some shop owners who pay license fees to the city of Harare are complaining that these people are selling in front of their shops whilst roads that lead to their shops are closed for vending. People claiming Mudzengerereri is well connected but surprisingly today he ran off for his life. The people standing on the right side are the vendors the ones on the left are led by Mudzengerereri. It is a pity because both sides were calling for ZIMASSET it made me to wonder which side was ZIMASSET.
