'Mugabe step down' activist arrested again

DIEHARD activist Itai Dzamara who runs the infamous Occupy Africa Unity Square project calling President Mugabe to step down for presiding over a failed State has been arrested again for staging ‘unsanctioned' calling for the 90 year old leader to resign.

Impeccable sources told us that Dzamara, a journalist, was arrested today while he was trying to address his supporters during his routine public meetings in Harare today.

"Just as Itai Dzamara began making his public address, a group of police members moved in to confiscate the megaphone," a source close to development said.

Unrestrained Dzamara, sources revealed, went ahead without the megaphone but was soon arrested and taken away to a law enforcers. His supporters who had gathered for the march followed to the police post and five of them were also arrested.

Last week Dzamara was severely beaten by Zanu-PF fans before he was arrested and incarcerated for hours Central Police and later released without charge.

Dzamara has been locked up by police several times but he has vowed to continue with the protest marches until Mugabe steps down.
