The High Court has relaxed bail conditions for Baba Jukwa suspects Edmund and Philip Kudzayi, who are facing charges of attempting to unseat a constitutionally elected government by using cyber terrorism and through the Gunda Nleya Brigade.

Judge Joseph Musakwa upheld an application from their lawyer Admire Rubaya seeking relaxation of their stringent bail conditions.

The two, whose charges additionally included inciting acts of banditry and insurgency and demeaning the Office of the President, will now report twice weekly on Fridays and Mondays to CID Law and Order as opposed to reporting twice every day.

The restriction to travel within a 40 kilometre radius within the capital has also been scrapped off, however, the title deeds top their parents' Hillside home and their passports remain in the custody of the State.

The court granted the order after satisfying itself that the State had failed to complete its extra territorial investigations by the 30th of July as it had promised and observing that there were changed circumstances.

Admire Rubaya had argued that the two are unable to go to work freely and cannot proceed to their farm to carry out farming activities because of the bail conditions.
