'I am not in the Mujuru faction'

The National Prosecuting Authority has denied allegations it is aligned to any political party or faction insisting its sole mandate is to uphold the country's laws without influence from anyone.
This comes after questions from some sections of the media over why the office is ignoring allegations of corruption being levelled against Vice President Joice Mujuru.
Prosecutor-General Johannes Tomana who was officially opening a two-day workshop in Bulawayo said the NPA cannot take up a case unless it has been reported to the police.
While acknowledging the NPA's decisions are guided by police investigations, Mr Tomana however noted that the country's constitution indicates that no one is above the law.
Zimbabwe's justice delivery system has often been criticised for failing to live up to new advancements especially in white collar crimes.
Several high profile cases of a white collar nature have often gone unpunished with legal experts acknowledging that provisions of the law have since been overtaken by events on the ground.
The prosecutor general also noted that the NPA together with other departments such as the police and the judiciary can be the backbone of economic recovery.
The two day workshop was attended by prosecutors from the country's southern region.
