The Zimbabwe National Youth Service Graduates Association has pledged its support for the First Family following Dr Grace Mugabe's nomination to head the women's league and the endorsement of President Mugabe as the President and First Secretary of Zanu-PF.

The association's pledge comes at a time the Zanu-PF party is embroiled in factional squabbles which has seen some of its members being expelled, suspended or reprimanded.

The association's secretary general Abson Madusise, whose organisation will meet the First Lady Dr Grace Mugabe on Sunday, said the revolutionary party should lead the way in steering the country to its full conclusion of empowering the masses and should rally behind the First Family's efforts at that.

"As an association, we are trained youths with entrenched values such as patriotism, discipline and entrepreneurship. We align ourselves with all progressive developments currently taking place in the ruling party and say let the party show the way. We do here by call upon His Excellency to act upon all misguided elements," said Madusise.

The Zimbabwe National Youth Service Graduates Association will on Sunday meet the First Lady to affirm their support and discuss the association's desires for positive contribution to the economy.
