Two road accidents claims eight people

Eight people have been killed and more than 30 others injured in two separate road accidents along the Chinhoyi-Chegutu road.
The first accident occurred early this Tuesday near Katsande School when a truck carrying mourners to Mhondoro veered off the road and landed on its side in a drain, killing three people and injuring 22 others.
The second accident happened two hours later when another truck burst its rear left tyre and overturned, killing five people and injuring 12 others.
The injured were taken to Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital.
Hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr Colin Mawire said 11 of the injured have been treated and discharged, while three have been referred to Harare Hospital.
