How Zim road accident can be reduced - Research

I have been reading about horrific road accidents in Zimbabwe, and have examined some photos of the accident locations. In Ireland, I have been involved in assessing potential roadside hazards and recommending mitigation measures for roads. From the photos of Zim accidents, I believe that something can be done to avoid most accidents. I only hope that the information attached can be used to reduce the accidents. I do not know what you can do, I hope you can do something.
May be you know someone who knows someone who can have road authorities consider some of these measures. I hope we can make a change. It is painful to have access to knowledge that can save our kith and kin but not be able to implement or have it implemented. I feel so guilty that our people are being exposed to risks that can be mitigated at very very low costs.
Yes we can, yes we can save lives.
Please forward the documents to anyone and everyone until they reach people who have the power to implement the measures.
Please find attached documents.
I also recommend free software from FHWA called Interactive Highway Safety Design Model (IHSDM) for two-lane rural highways, multilane rural highways, and urban and suburban arterials. IHSDM also includes five other safety evaluation modules applicable to rural two-lane highways: Policy Review, Design Consistency, Intersection Review, Traffic Analysis, and Driver/Vehicle Performance Tool.
Its free software
