Speaker of National Assembly Jacob Mudenda has ordered Members of Parliament across the political divide to stop bringing petty party political matters into the august house, which have a potential to distract the chambers' business.

Addressing lawmakers in the National Assembly, who were booing Zanu-PF legislator Joseph Mapiki, recently booted out of Mashonaland Central provincial executive for allegedly working with VP Joice Mujuru to oust President Robert Mugabe, Mudenda said trying to bring political issues in the house was unwanted and should not be tolerated.

He warned members that it is not advisable to bring petty political differences in the house.
