'Mujuru-Makoni fatal accident not covered up,' says police

Police have denied media claims that they covered up Chipo Mujuru-Makoni's fatal road accident that claimed the lives of two people.
VP Mujuru has been on the centre of being accused to have influenced the cover up of her daughter.
ZRP through assistant commissioner Shelton Dube said the case was investigated properly, professionally and the law took its course.
Dube said Mujuru-Makoni was charged for contravening Section 49 of the Criminal Law Act chapter 9:23 and was convicted on two counts of culpable homicide.
