Mugabe commends Zimbabwe Defence Forces

President Robert Mugabe, who is also the Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF) says Zimbabwe and its neighbouring countries have done well by supplying quality personnel, moulded by the ZDF.
The President was speaking at the graduation of the Joint Command and Staff Course Number 27 of the Zimbabwe Staff College which commenced in January this year.
The course had 45 locals and 10 foreign students.
He commended the college for producing well rounded officers in the security services.
The President said the ZDF and its counterparts in the region share a vision of promoting exchange of ideas and experiences, adding that the relations and joint training are likely to extend to other forms that include collective security and economic integration.
The officers also visited Chief Chitanga homestead in Mwenezi District to enhance their understanding of traditional values, culture and nationalism.
