Webster Shamu ouster endorsed

Zanu-PF National Political Commissar Webster Shamu and two other Mashonaland West central committee-elect members have had their ouster formalised.

Shamu fell by the wayside together with Sylvester Nguni and Reuben Marumahoko when a vote of no confidence was passed against them on Wednesday.

Sources told ZBC News that this decision was formalised today by the ruling party's provincial co-ordinating committee, provincial election directorate and provincial congress coordinating committee.

This development will be communicated to the Politburo when it sits on Tuesday ahead of the 6th Zanu-PF National People's Congress scheduled for Harare from the 2nd to the 7th of December.
