Presidential spokesperson George Charamba yesterday said government was still very much intact despite the mudslinging in the ruling party Zanu-PF.

He also quashed rumours that Vice-President Joice Mujuru was already packing her bags to relinquish her top government position as pressure from First Lady Grace Mugabe and her followers mounted on her to resign.

Mujuru has of late also suffered a lot of humiliation with recent state media reports alleging she had abused her high office and was involved in corrupt activities.

Charamba said rumours that Mujuru was about to give up the VP post were unfounded as there were procedures to be followed if she wished to resign or was to be relieved of her duties
