Mugabe fires more ministers

President Robert Mugabe has fired Energy minister Dzikamai Mavhaire and his deputy Munacho Mutezo as he begins a purge of Vice President Joice Mujuru's allies from his government.
This comes as Mugabe is this afternoon expected to sack Mujuru in a major Cabinet reshuffle that will claim at least half a dozen other ministers who failed to secure central committee positions in the part ahead of the party congress last week.
Mavhaire who is senator for Masvingo province and Mutezo, MP for Chimanimani West been under fire for not only supporting out-of-favour Mujuru but they also stand accused of abusing thousands of dollars and resources from Zesa, a parastatal they are in charge of.
It has been allege that Zesa resources were used to finance activities of the faction led by Mujuru.
