49-year-old mistress Adelaide Memela from Soweto, SA, is angry with her lover's wife.
"That woman is doing desperate things to get her husband back," she said.
"She has opened three cases against me just to be spiteful."
She said Iris Nxumalo (39), the wife of Zakhele Zwane (49), cut herself with a knife and reported the matter to Jabulani Police Station in Soweto, claiming Adelaide had attacked her.
On Thursday, Adelaide attended one of the assault cases at the Protea Magistrates Court.
"The case was dropped but I was so humiliated," she said.
Adelaide said Iris also opened a case of housebreaking and theft but the matter was later dropped.
She said she will be attending the second assault case today, and she's worried.
Iris is still living in the family home in Jabulani, Soweto with the five children she and Zakhele had together.
Adelaide and Zakhele rent separate rooms in Jabulani.
Zakhele told Daily Sun if Adelaide leaves him, he will not go back to Iris.
"I will find another woman and I will look after my children. Iris is crazy," he said.
"I lost my job because of her. She opened false cases against me and I ended up spending a lot of time in court."
He agreed with Adelaide that Iris had cut herself so she could open a case.
Zakhele said he is scared of trying to divorce Iris.
"She's dangerous. She is capable of anything," said Zakhele.
Daily Sun spoke to Iris, who said she opened the cases because Adelaide assaulted her.
Iris, a nurse, said she didn't cut herself.
"I'm not crazy. Adelaide must forget about me divorcing my husband. She's a sl*t. She's old enough to be my husband's mother," Iris said.
Warrant Officer Kay Makhubela confirmed that cases were opened, and a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm was pending.
