Mugabe begins annual leave, Mnangagwa is acting President

President Mugabe left Harare yesterday for his annual holiday in the Far East.

The President is expected back in Zimbabwe in mid-January. In his absence, Vice President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa is the Acting President.

VP Mnangagwa took his oath of office before President Mugabe last Friday along with VP Phelekezela Mphoko and a number of Cabinet ministers.
