Mugabe promotes 32 army officers

President Robert Mugabe has promoted 32 senior army officers at a ceremony held at the army headquarters in Harare today.
The 32 senior officers were conferred with different ranks effective 12th December 2014.
First was the promotion of Colonel Lazarus Gutu to the rank of Brigadier General.
Brigadier General Chrispen Masuku, the Brigadier General Quarter Master Staff, who read the citation on behalf of the army commander told the officers that the promotion entails more discipline and loyalty from the officers.
8 Lieutenant Colonels: Mpulaeng Siziba, Evison Nyamangondo, Michael Mataruka, Panganatsiyo Kufa, Kenson Dube, Edward Mumho, Luke Muchemwa and Israel Dube were promoted to the rank of Colonel.
