Zanu-PF nominates Bhobho for Senate

Zanu PF has nominated Hilda Bhobho to fill the vacant seat in the Senate that occurred following the election of Edna Madzongwe as President of the Senate.
In a notice published in the government gazette, Zimbabwe Electoral Commission Chairperson Rita Makarau says the nomination is in terms of Section 39 (6) of the Electoral Act Chapter 2:13.
Bhobho is a registered voter in Ward 24 of Chegutu Rural District Council, residing at 872 Chegutu Township, Chegutu.
Mrs Makarau says any voter wishing to object the nomination may within a period of 14 days from the 19th of December, lodge written objection with the commission setting forth the objection.
