The Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association (ZNLWVA) has come out guns blazing attacking Zapu leader Dumiso Dabengwa accusing him of peddling lies about Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko.
The attack on Dabengwa was made at the ZNLWVA's first executive meeting in the capital to deliberate on the political, social and economic developments in the country.
ZNLWVA spokesperson Mandi Chimene said members of the association are fully behind the appointed vice presidents, adding that comments from Dabengwa on the ascendency of Mphoko are regrettable.
The ZNLWVA national chairman, Christopher Mutsvangwa said after the 6th National People's Congress, the nation is ready to partner investors from all corners of the country for economic growth.
The war veterans also commended the President, Robert Mugabe for creating a stand alone ministry for liberation war fighters and urged the youths to be disciplined as the nation is focussing on the accelerated implementation of ZIM ASSET.
