'Mini skirt' attack - Suspect arrested

A 32 year old tout has appeared in court in connection with the molesting of a 28 year old woman at Fourth Street early this month.
Marvelous Kandemiri is facing charges of indecent assault after he together with his accomplices stripped the woman at Fourth Street terminus.
The footage went viral on the social media and citizens have been pressing for the arrest of the perpetrators.
Police spokesperson Chief Superintendent Paul Nyathi said Kandemiri was arrested on Wednesday, adding police are still investigating the case and more people will be arrested soon.
Police say the delay in the arrest of the perpetrators was caused by the complainant who only reported the matter to the police on Wednesday.
In another case, Nelson Mahupete of the Lasch Investments scandal has been arrested.
Mahupete is the 10th person to be arrested as the police widen their net into the Lasch scandal which has prejudiced innocent farmers of large sums of money.
The group is facing charges of fraud and money laundering.
